The chompers are coming, the chompers are coming! Wow, all of a sudden he's sprouting teeth like there's no tomorrow! As you can see from the pictures, he's got two pearly whites now. And he's not done. He's working on FOUR top teeth! His two front teeth and the two incisors are cutting through. He's chomping on stuff all over the place! He loves to eat bagels, they probably feel good on his gums. However, he HATES brushing his little teeth. We try to make it fun, but how fun can teeth brushing really be?

There's my teeth, Grammy! I call them Fang 1 and Fang 2.

He has recently taken to his books. He will leave all his fun toys in the living room to crawl into his room and take out all his books. I finally got smart and moved the books into the living room! He loves to look through all the pages and feel the different paper and weight of the books.

Last week we got him a new book from the Bible bookstore. He loves it and thinks the pictures are funny!

What a lucky baby - not even a year old yet and he's already been to Disneyland two times! Last weekend we went to Disneyland to celebrate Dan's birthday. It worked out pretty well, since he got a free ticket and Jonah was free. We had a great time. Jonah didn't cry once and had so much fun. What a good boy!! He went on lots of rides and enjoyed a few Disneyland snacks. His favorite ride was A Small World. He clapped his hands and couldn't take in the sights fast enough! He also loved the Buzz Lightyear ride because he got to hold the little laser gun. He also got to meet Mickey Mouse. We didn't really realize we were in the line to meet him, but after standing there for almost an hour, we didn't want to get out. It worked out for the best and Jonah loved Mickey. He wasn't one bit scared of him! He just grabbed Mickey's nose and kept petting his soft furry face! It was too cute! I will post those pictures once we purchase them. (Can't decide which ones we want yet.) We also got a cute video of Jonah "dancing" during a parade (or maybe he was just happy to get out of his stroller!) Anyways, I'll post that once I figure out how to download it!

Family Photos

Last Saturday, a lady from church met us at a park to take some family photos for the church bulletin. She did a great job and we got a lot of cute photos of Jonah. He was a little bit shy so it took a while for him to warm up and show us his little smile - but he came around.
He's working on another tooth, so he kept sticking his fingers in his mouth!

Yeah! We finally figured out how to upload videos - so look out! This is one of my favorites. For some reason he thought it was hilarious when I would pull his little giraffe away from him!! Mr. Giggles!!

9 Months

Wow! So much has been going on this past month, it's as if a light bulb went off for Jonah and he is doing everything!! He is crawling everywhere and loves to roll around in Gracie's bed. Ewww! It seems the more we discourage him from doing it, the more he wants to do it! He's pulling himself up all over the place and loves his newfound freedom! We recently got a new camcorder to capture all the fun things he's doing, but I'm still trying to figure out how to upload the videos. Once I figure it out, I'll share some pretty funny clips. I can't believe he's ten months already! Yikes. We're already planning his little birthday party and it should be a lot of fun.

father's day, spagetti and chocolate cake - could life get any better?

First spagetti dinner!Lots of fun firsts this past month and Jonah enjoyed them all! We went up to visit both sides of the family for Jonah's first Father's Day. He got to visit all of his cousins and see his aunts and uncles and grandmas and grandpas. It's always too short of a visit, but it's great to see everyone.


He learned very quickly how to suck the noodles into his mouth - but sometimes he was too hungry to wait and just shoveled it in with his fist!
