boxes

I made this little kitchen out of boxes for the boys to play with. They love it, but they've decided it's more fun to play IN. They take turns crawling in and out of the oven. Sometimes, both of them with shove in there together! And the kitchen sink cabinet has become a great place for the cat to sleep. I had no idea how useful this little kitchen would be!

Jonah's glasses

My little Sweetpea had to get glasses to correct a "lazy" eye. He wasn't too happy about this but has adjusted wonderfully. And he's super cute!

Summer '11 (so far)

This has been one of the best (and busiest) summers yet! We've been having so much fun and enjoying San Diego like never before. And the best part is, we've still got another month and a half of fun summer times to go!!
Summer started out with a trip the the L.A. Zoo with Grammy and the cousins. It was a really fun day. Hot, but fun! The boys loved getting reacquainted with their cousins. They ate lunch together, petted the animals together and shopped together!
Next, we had a fun day at the San Diego County Fair. We had absolutely perfect weather. And after wasting half of the day eating, we finally found the fun kiddie area and the boys went wild! It was really cute to see all the fun stuff available for them. Who knew!?!
We've also been spending a lot of time with some friends at a sprinkler park and the beach. The boys are now water bugs! Where else but San Diego does your one year old have a tan?!?
We'll have more pictures to post soon as we're hitting Knotts Berry Farm on Monday and then off to Tucson for vacation.

P.S. My pictures are REALLY out of order. Sorry. Still can't figure out how Blogger loads them!

Jonah at the fair. They had saddles set up for kids in the horse corrals. He had a blast on this one because it would rock back and forth!

Cousins at the zoo petting the donkey.

Back at the fair. This was a little kid area where they could pretend to use the pooper scoopers and clean up after the stuffed animals. Naturally, my boys were drawn to this. Not sure if it was the animals or the pooper scoopers.

Ready for a load of poop!

The pooper scooper was bigger than Henry.

They had a fake cow that you could "milk." Water actually came out but it was really hard to milk it!

Inside one of the kiddie tents, they had a pretend kitchen/shopping area set up with shopping carts, pretend food and kitchens. This was the highlight of the day for the boys. Ramming shopping carts. Doesn't get much better for two little boys!

The sprinkler park. This place is THE BEST! First of all, it's free. Second of all, parents can just hang out on the grass and watch their kids have fun. Third, the kids run around like crazy and then go home and take GREAT naps!!!

Back to the fair. Jonah is in the corner cooking on the BBQ!

The beach! We've found our favorite beach is in Coronado. It's perfect in so many ways!

Jonah loves the beach too! He's finally gotten over his fear of the waves and will venture out into the water, if I hold his hand. So cute in his little glasses!

Henry at the sprinkler park. The first time we went, you couldn't keep the boy out of the water!

grammy's outfits

Grammy made these cute outfits for the boys and it's finally warm enough that they could wear them for church. Henry looks like he should be boarding the Titanic! or maybe heading off to an English boarding school! Too cute!!

Father's Day

Three cuties!

Couldn't decide between these two, so I chose both!

new camera

I love my new camera almost as much as I love Jonah's cheesy grin in this photo!

Henry's making his little fish face!

Trying hard to blow a bubble

Sweet little boys

Jonah LOVES to hold Henry's hand. Henry doesn't see what the big deal is.

hamster's first haircut

My sweet little Henry aka the Hamster, got his first haircut. I was so sad to see his sweet baby hair go, but he looks like a cute little boy now. His Grandma Mason did a great job cutting his hair. He did a pretty good job of sitting still, with the help of an M&M covered cookie!

We got a new amazing camera, so it was really hard to pick just a few pictures!

Before - a little shaggy, but awfully cute!

A little too "Beiber" for my liking

All ready for a trim!

Trying to get away

Doesn't he just look like a doll in this picture? He has such perfect skin!

Grandma Mason was so patient!

Enough already!

The pick helped take his mind off the cutting

Almost done - looking like a little boy!

All Done!

Oops, wrong order. He was enjoying an M&M cookie while Grandma was cutting away.
