Every year, Dan tries to take the kids on a special "date" with just the two of them. This year, Jonah really wanted to go to a Padres game with just Daddy. (I think he overheard his friends talking about going to baseball games.) So one evening, Dan surprised him with a trip to the baseball game. Jonah was a pretty expensive date - eating his way through Petco Park!! But he had a lot of fun and even got a free hoodie out of it!
Henry wanted to go to the movies. So on another night, Dan took him to see the Shaun the Sheep Movie. He was super excited! They went out for pizza and then headed to a special movie theater with reclining seats!
When Daddy took Jonah to the game, I took these munchkins to Chick-fil-a. Win win! I didn't have to cook and the kids were happy!!
