Jonah turns 4

After a long break, I'm finally back! Had some problems with the computer but I think we've got it taken care of. So I was finally able to upload all my photos from September to present! Yikes! So, here's a look at Jonah's fourth birthday. Can't believe my "baby" is four!! He wanted a pirate party so we did our best to make it super fun. We originally had it scheduled for a local park. But as it happens in September, his birthday party turned out to be one of the hottest days of the year! So we moved the party to our house where we could all enjoy the air conditioning. The kids were still good sports and enjoyed some of the activities outside. We had pirate swords to decorate (the above picture is Jonah and Amos decorating their swords.) We had buried treasures and pin the patch on the pirate!

Ethan spent a lot of time digging for the hidden treasures in the sand. He had so much fun at this!

A spread good enough for the Swashbuckling Pirates! We had shark salad, sandwiches, macaroni (bony) salad, and of course Pirates Booty!

Pin the patch on the Pirate!

My sweet boy posing with his treasure chest cake. I got his cute shirt from a lady on Etsy. Such a fun site!
Getting ready to blow out the candles.

 Opening his bounty of presents!

Henry and Amos were very interested in all the goodies! They made good "helpers!"

 Sweet Baby Ella

We gave Jonah his presents from us on his actual birthday. His main gift was a new kitchen. He was pretty excited!!
