my sweet boys

Henry going after Daddy's brains!

Hanging out in Jonah's big boy bed

Tasty toes

Isn't this so cute! Henry's the same size as his stuffed bear! :)

Such a happy little guy!

Henry's first "big boy bath." Both boys took a bath together for the first time and Henry loved it! Jonah was pretty excited too and he enjoyed "helping" give Henry the bath.

I'm a big boy!

Sitting up all by himself! This little guy's determined to grow up as fast as possible!

day out with thomas

As part of Jonah's birthday present, we took him to meet Thomas the Train at the "Day Out with Thomas". It was held at a big railway museum in Perris, so there were all kinds of trains to ride and look at. Jonah had a blast! Of course, his favorite part was riding on Thomas, although it wasn't his favorite until it was over. Then he only wanted to ride it again! The whole thing was organized so well. There were all kinds of booths and activities to visit. Jonah was given a treasure map-type thing where when he visited different stations, they would give him a stamp. Once he collected all the stamps, he got a special little Thomas camera toy (similar to a viewfinder.) They had a petting zoo, a tent filled with Thomas toys to play with and Thomas pictures to color, he got a tattoo of Percy, you could get your picture taken with Sir Topamhat and so much more! It was every little boy's dream!! We had so much fun, I'm sure we'll be looking to go back next year, when we will have two little boys who love Thomas!

Henry likes Thomas too! They had the train sectioned off according to the different Thomas characters (Percy, James, Thomas and Henry). I think we were sitting in the James section.

Jonah got a cute Thomas balloon. It will be cute to hang it on the wall in his room once it deflates.
Yay for Thomas, and Daddy!

This is how Henry spent most of his day out with Thomas!

Percy tattoo!

So much fun playing with all the Thomas toys

san diego childrens museum

Dan won some tickets to the childrens' museum here in San Diego, so last weekend, we decided to take the boys and check the place out. It was different from what we expected, a little too "artsy" and "green" for our liking, but we still had a great time. Some of the inventions were pretty neat. After we played around there for a while, we drove over to Seaport Village, which is always fun. We had some incredible fish, shrimp and chips and then looked around the cute little shops. It was such a fun and relaxing day!

They had a huge table covered in these blocks. Jonah was more interested in figuring these weird chairs out.

This was the "Rain Room". It was a little shed-type room that they had piped water through the ceiling and down the walls, so it sounded like rain. The floor was spongy, so the kids had fun running and jumping around in there. For whatever reason, this was where Jonah wanted to spend all his time!

Too speedy for the camera!

The rope to nowhere. At least it was fun to shake and pull on!

One of the weird "artsy" vehicles. It looks pretty cool but it was WAY too complicated for any child to operate. However, Dan enjoyed wheeling around in there for a long time!

Dressing up like a bug

Henry loved the museum too, can't you tell?!? He was such a good boy! He hung out in his stroller for about two hours without any complaints!

Jonah loved this little ladybug riding toy. It was kind of small for him, but he had fun riding around.

Another "artsy" vehicle. This one was kind of a cool chariot type thing. You had to pump the steering thing to make it go. If you didn't pump fast enough, it would go backwards. As you can imagine, the place was a little chaotic!

Big chalkboard wall

We ended up in this room with Ikea-type shopping carts and blocks. Jonah was in heaven to be pushing something. And ramming. And chasing unsuspecting girls. *sigh* At least he was having fun!!!
Yummy! Eating fish, shrimp and chips at Seaport Village

Daddy got Jonah a chocolate covered Oreo for dessert. Yummy!

Henry zoning in on Daddy's chocolate covered marshmallows!

a duck and a chicken walked into a store....

My sweet little boys transformed into the cutest little chicken and duck for Halloween this year! We took the boys to Legoland for their "Brick-or-Treat" and they loved it. It seemed to work out better than taking them around to houses we don't know. Legoland was all decked out for Halloween and it was fun watching all the other little kids in their costumes. Jonah had a lot of fun getting free stuff. He didn't get the hang of trick or treating for a while, but once he realized he was getting candy, toys and other goodies, he was onboard!

I'm cute!

Dodging the spiders!

Jonah was very interested in the fire truck - never mind the Frankenstein!
