USS Midway

The last day Jeff and Suzanne were here, we all decided to go tour the USS Midway. We had never done that before, so it was fun to do a "new" San Diego tourist thing. Wow! It was a bit overwhelming how big it was. We really had no idea. We didn't get there until about 1 and it closed at 5, so we weren't able to see everything. Too bad! Just means we'll have to go back again!

 All the boys

All the boys really enjoyed these little jet cutouts they could climb in. They were actual pieces of planes so they still had the entire cockpit inside.

Dan had just as much fun as the kids!

 Jonah in a jump seat.

Lucy loves her Uncle Jeff! And he loves her too!

Dan and Jeff were less than thrilled to be forced into taking this picture.

Dan, Jonah, Jeff & Christian all got to take the tour into the bridge where they would actually pilot the ship. Sadly, there was a height requirement so Lucy, Henry and Gavin weren't able to go. So Suzanne and I just took them over to a table to play on our phones while we visited and waited for the guys. They actually seemed pretty happy!
