February 2017

Taco Tuesday. Sometimes the kids just get super excited to eat tacos on Tuesday and watch the Lego Movie. If you haven't seen the Lego Movie, this makes no sense to you, so you need to watch the movie. And it's pretty funny.

One Saturday, we decided to go down to Old Town and look around. It was really fun! There are some really old buildings and free museums and lots of really good Mexican restaurants. It was a fun afternoon!

Lots of old west type stuff including this old wagon that the kids could climb around in.

One of the little shops sold tiny paper umbrellas. So  I bought one for Lucy to play with her dolls. Well, everyone else was upset that they didn't have one, so back to the store we went. Now four kids are excited to show off their tiny paper umbrellas!

Ben really liked the wild west stuff!

Henry has already earned two stripes. Once he earns all of his stripes, he will be eligible to test for the next belt.

Valentines Day! This is how we like to celebrate as a family - with chocolate!! We found this little fondue pot that uses a candle and Jonah really thought we needed it for Valentines Day. Who can argue with a good idea? So we picked it up and came up with all the yummy things we could think of to dip in chocolate. And we had ourselves a pretty sweet Valentines Day!

 Everyone loved it!

Another fun class at Balboa Park! They had the balloon lady come back to teach another science lesson and they give instructions on how to build a balloon hat. I think she pretty much ended up going around and building everyone's hats for them, but it was still fun!

 My cute little guy!
