March 2017

It was such nice weather, we decided to take the kids on a little hike near our house. Not too far from us is a small "mountain" with a park and a hiking trail. So we loaded everyone up and went out for a hike. It was definitely an adventure complete with a rattlesnake sighting!

This little guy is infatuated with showing off his tummy! He pulls his shirt up for no reason to check out his tummy!

After our hike, we came home and watched the first Harry Potter movie. We've been reading the books to the boys as a family every night and promised they could watch the movie once we finished. I was able to order some official Harry Potter gummy slugs and chocolate frogs to go along with the theme.

While the boys were in their Balboa Park class, I took the kids to the zoo. I love that they're all connected and so close together. It was a super nice morning and not many people were there, so it was also pretty peaceful.

We went to check out the polar bears and they were up close to the window!

We even rode the sky tram, which is a super treat because I never take them on it!

The boys also recently started taking a nature class at a little pond near our library on Monday mornings. We get there bright and early and it's always so pretty and green!

How is it my little Lucita is already FOUR?!? She was way more excited about her birthday than I was. :(

The weekend after her birthday, we went up to visit the family and celebrate Ben and Lucy's birthdays with everyone. Lucy and Ben were excited to wear their new birthday shirts!

Few things are cuter than kids with funny mustaches!!

 Very serious

When you don't have snow, you do the next best thing and make a sandman!

The last night this little guy will be one. My baby.

He was so excited to open his presents! It was really cute that he realized what was going on.

One afternoon, after church, we went over to a friend's house and the older girls were excited to face paint for the kids. Lucy wanted to be a cat, of course, and she made a pretty cute one!

Jonah wanted a little minion. So cute!
