November 2016

November is always full of fun times and the anticipation of Christmas. This year we had a pretty active November! We had Grammy & PomPom over for Thanksgiving, we went to Tucson for a quick trip to visit friends, and then we got our Christmas tree - all super fun things!

Dan took the kids to lunch and came home with these funny photos. There's something about getting close with the camera that makes their little heads look so funny!

One of our highlights of traveling to Tucson is that halfway there, we get to stop at Cracker Barrel! We all look forward to it and pretty much start planning on what we're going to order the moment we leave the house. It's a big deal! Jonah and Henry love when we have a wait so they can play checkers in the giant rocking chair. And I don't mind it either. It gives me time to check out their store...too much good stuff!

 Cat was enjoying the pumpkins.

We decided to go for a hike in the Saguaro National Park. It was so pretty and the weather was perfect!

This picture is out of order - we didn't actually see a coyote sitting on a rock during our hike! This was at the Desert Museum that we visited on our trip.

Thanksgiving dinner with Grammy & PomPom!

The kids all had to try a turkey leg.

 Tea time!

We also went to visit the Desert Museum. This is basically a desert zoo. We love going out there, especially this time of year when it isn't 110 degrees in the shade!! The weather was so nice that a lot of animals were active.

 Ben took a nap...
And we got ice cream and snacks!

They also have a small aquarium room, which had these super funny little sea worms. Ben loved watching them!

We went to Costco and got our Christmas tree! Always fun! The kids love the little Rudolf singing toys.

But sometimes they don't want to share.

This is the cutest video of Ben making himself some tea and enjoying the music. I love his little dance!

And this is how we all felt at the end of the month!
